Pontypridd High School Enterprise Day

The 6th form in Pontypridd High are having an Enterprise Day on Wednesday 1st July. This will take place in the outdoor market. The children are only given a pitch and they have to research, fund and create items for sale. This is a great opportunity for you to see how well they can work as a team and how innovative they are. The children in Year 6 will also be attending to see what sort of things they will be expected to do when they move up to the high school.

Choir Concert

Please note that we will be holding a charity Choir concert in aid of PONT at 6pm on Wednesday 1st July. All welcome

Our Flag

Further news regarding the flag designed by the school. The flag has been chosen to fly at the celebratory event to mark the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta, at Runnymede. The Duke of Cambridge looked at small number of flags that were selected, and we are pleased to say that our schools flag was one of these. MP Owen Smith will be coming to present the flag to school on 17th July at 10am.

Bristol Zoo

The children in Miss Davies’, Mrs Pocock’s and Mrs Dyas’ classes are going on a visit to Bristol Zoo on Tuesday, 30th June.
The bus will leave at 9.00 am and return by approximately 4 pm.

Please can your child wear school uniform on the day and bring a packed lunch. Your child may bring up to £3 in a purse/wallet to spend on a drink or ice-cream.
If your child is entitled to free meals and would like the school to provide a packed lunch, please inform the school office by Monday morning, 29th June.
