Magna Carta Flag

We held a special assembly where the flag designed by the school council was presented to them by Mr Owen Smith MP and Mr Mick Antoniw AM. It was a very proud moment for the School Council and Mrs Louise Evans who oversees them. The assembly was attended by

Mr Owen Smith MP
Mr Mick Antoniw AM
Mr Barry Stephens Mayor RCT
Mrs Jayne Brencher Mayor Pontypridd
Mr & Mrs Rickards PONT
Cllr Rob Smith Governor
Cllr Tina Leyshon
Mr John Evans Governor

A special cake was also made to be shared amongst all the children kindly made by Mrs Evans' mum. It was delicious.

We look forward to seeing the flag fly.

Our fabulous school choir entertained us all with their wonderful voices and a cheque for £200 was presented to Mr and Mrs Rickards for PONT. The school choir raised the funds in a charity concert.

Mr Owen Smith MP and Mr Mick Antoniw AM also gave out our attendance awards for the Summer term. The winners are Mrs Dyas Upper Foundation Phase and Mr Hall Key stage 2. Congratulations to both classes.
